Connect Groups in 2024
As we step into 2024, we’re thrilled to share the incredible growth of our Nexus Church community. Over the past few years, Ps Nathan & Bec felt strongly that the Lord was calling Nexus Church into deeper faith and discipleship.
At the beginning of 2023 Ps Nathan shared his vision: “We’re not a church with connect groups. We’re a church of connect groups.” Looking back, we are overjoyed to announce that connect groups have flourished. From humble beginnings, we now have over 60 vibrant Connect Groups gathering intentionally around scripture which in turn has deepened the understanding of faith and built a stronger sense of community. And this is just the beginning. We are always looking to increase this. If you are interested in leading or hosting a connect group, we’d love to hear from you. You can send your interest to [email protected]. Let’s continue building community and keep growing in faith in 2024.
Connect Groups
How do they work?
Within our church communities, people are encouraged to gather regularly in connect groups with the conversation being deliberately faith-based: discuss scripture, ask questions, reflect & pray together. Each week we release Sunday sermon notes with discussion points and questions for your connect group to work through.
The invitation for connect groups is for everyone in our community – new Christians, those in church and everyone journeying with Jesus.
Begin today by asking some new friends if they want to join with you.

Resources for your connect group
Get a head start by using our weekly Sermon Notes as a discussion point for your group. These notes are uploaded fresh each week and are based on the teachings from our Sunday morning services. Complete with a brief one-thought summary, questions, discussion points and a prayer – these notes are ideal for helping your connect group track along with our current sermon series.
