Nexus Missions

Our vision is to see people around the world experience the gospel and find freedom from poverty and oppression.

We’ve returned from our impactful mission trip to Japan this August. We were honoured to be invited to co-lead a Youth Camp near Tokyo, where we ministered to over 150 Japanese youth during the 10-day journey.

The connections we formed with local youth leaders and co-leaders were deeply meaningful and nothing short of miraculous, and we’re excited to nurture these relationships beyond the trip. With a heart for fostering Christ-centered peer connections among young adults and youth leaders, our team witnessed firsthand the life-changing effects of these interactions.

We’d love to encourage you to continue to pray for Japan.  We are excited and expectant to see the seeds planted continue to grow.

Bus Project:

With your help, we raised over $25,000 to purchase a new bus for our partners Pete & Nat in North Arnhem Land. The upgraded bus will transport community members to Church, making a significant impact in their lives. Thank you for expanding the kingdom and equipping our partners to make a difference. Your support is truly appreciated.

Nexus Missions

Through mission and development, we engage with communities from the understanding that poverty is only a symptom of a much deeper root cause: brokenness, inequality and lack of peace in foundational relationships God created us to enjoy.

Through our reach into our local community and beyond we partner with grassroot organisations and local leaders.

Local Support:

In Brisbane, we annually support many local chaplains, schools, the Hope Foundation, YWAM Brisbane and more.

Additionally, our charity Nexus Care works to practically help those in our own city in extreme hardship. Nexus Care has locations in Everton Park and Sandgate.

Global Missionaries:

The Nexus Church community supports the incredible work of missionaries all around the world.
