Who are Nexus Youth?
Nexus Youth is a community that champions and empowers young people to live for Jesus, discover who God is for themselves, and positively influence their world.
We gather on Friday nights during the school term and on Sundays for Youth Church. Led by Pastor Sophia and Pastor Julius, Nexus Youth is a Pentecostal youth ministry that believes in the power and move of the Holy Spirit.
Through our Friday Youth Nights and Sunday Youth Church Services, our team teaches and studies the Word of God and how it relates to us today. We want to lead a generation of young people who know who their God is, who they are in Him, and how He wants to use us every day in everything we do.
Nexus Youth Fridays
Grab your friends and get to Nexus Youth on Friday nights! We’re a faith-based program for high schoolers held at Nexus Church Everton Park from 6.30 – 8.45pm every Friday during the school term. Packed with heaps of fun and games, crazy challenges, worship, epic crew time, Jesus, and so much more, we know you don’t want to miss out!
Nexus Youth Sundays
During our Sunday morning services at Everton Park & Samford, students in Grades 6-9 can head to Youth Church during the school term. Students will stay in the service to enjoy worship and then head out with Ps Sophia, Julius & the Nexus Youth leaders to continue an excellent, Bible-based, age-appropriate Youth Church program.
Nexus Youth Midweek
Throughout the week, we partner with local high schools to continue to connect with young people. We coordinate Strength and Shine programs to establish firm foundations for students to grow and thrive. Nexus Youth also partners with Nexus Care to facilitate Brekky Clubs that provide breakfast for high school students before school.
