Easter at Nexus

Join us for a special Easter weekend at Nexus Church. Our services are open to all and held across our three beautiful locations in Everton Park, Sandgate & Samford. All locations are family friendly with kids facilities. Our Everton Park location also features a Parents’ Room and a Cafe. We hope you’ll feel right at home at Nexus!

Good Friday

Join us for Good Friday across all our locations, as we reflect on Jesus and the cross while taking communion together at 9am on April 18.

Please note there will be no online service or Kids’ Program at Samford or Sandgate for Good Friday.

Easter Sunday

Join us for a special Easter Sunday celebration service on Sunday 20 April across all our locations.

Everton Park & Online – 8am & 10am services (no 5pm service)
Sandgate & Samford – 9am service

A Kids’ Program will be running across all our locations for Sunday services.

First time at Nexus?

We realise sometimes going to a new place is intimidating. Below is a mini FAQ to answer some of the questions you may have. We’d love to see you at our Easter Services, and would invite you to take the step and come along to what we pray will be a special and meaningful weekend.

Do I need to register?

Our services are open to all – there’s no need to pre-book, just turn up a little before the service starts.

Do I need to arrive early?

We suggest arriving 15 minutes early as our Easter services are often popular.

What should I wear?

We don’t have a dress code – you’re welcome to wear whatever is comfortable for you.

What should I expect?

You can expect friendly faces, well equipped facilities with comfortable seating, modern music and an engaging service. Our Easter services generally run for just over 1 hour.

Is there parking?

All sites have ample parking. For our Everton Park campus, our friendly carpark attendants will direct you to the best parking! There is also wheelchair accessible parking on-site at all locations.

What about kids?

We’re a family-friendly Church. Activity packs are available for kids during our Easter services, plus kids programs run during our normal Sunday services. For our Everton Park location, a fenced playground is available for children before and after the service, plus parents room facilities inside the auditorium space.
